In a time when the world is marked by conflict, division, and uncertainty, Bhutan is preparing to offer a message of unity and hope. From 4–19 November 2025, the Royal Government of Bhutan will host the Global Peace Prayer Festival (GPPF) in Thimphu, a transformative spiritual gathering dedicated to peace, healing, and happiness.

The GPPF will bring together eminent lamas, renowned scholars, and practitioners from all schools of Buddhism, uniting in prayer for global harmony and compassion. Designed as both an in-person and online event, the festival will provide a unique opportunity for people worldwide to connect with Bhutan’s spiritual traditions and share in the collective aspiration for a more peaceful future.
